This position is located at Erhard, MN. Relocation or Commute required
We are looking for General Laborers – Pay range $45,000.00 - $50,000.00
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITIONOutdoor general laborer position, requiring the ability to follow demonstrated direction. This position provides a variety of duties such as loading supplies, digging holes, cable handling, locating and spotting existing utilities, providing ground restoration and general clean up.
Starting wages $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Load and unload supplies
- Hand dig holes and trenches
- Pothole utilities
- Feed cable in chute during plow procedure
- Locate and spot existing utilities
- Set utility peds and hand holes
- Assist operator digging around utilities
- Out of town travel as required
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend and twist as needed
- Must have a current valid driver's license
- Perform other duties as assigned
Various hand/power tools, shovel, rake, air compressor
TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS- New hire on the job training for up to 2 weeks or as needed with an experienced employee
- Daily instructions and directions from the company's foreman and equipment operators
- Vehicle operation instructions (when required)
- Knowledge of company's policies and procedures
- Participate in weekly toolbox meeting
- Above average pay, with weekly overtime scheduled
- Weekly paid travel time
- Daily per diem paid for overnight travel
- Company provided transportation
- Company pays for lodging
- Company pays for 100% of health insurance premiums after 60 days of employment
- SEP retirement contributions and production bonuses based on company profitability
- ESST/PTO provided
