Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant

Join to apply for the Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant role at Victory Mortgage in our Northern Kentucky Division. You will partner with a Mortgage Loan Officer Elite Coach to participate in world-class training that will provide the skills to lead and facilitate mortgage loan closings. In this role, you will receive a combination of on-the-job training and mortgage courses to learn prospecting, building relationships, and the loan process.

These skills will be used to:

• Successfully follow and complete the loan closing process for all transactions.
• Participate in the training conducted by the Mortgage Loan Officers in order to understand the loan process for Victory Mortgage.
• Assist the Mortgage Loan Officers with new and updated files, which includes gathering borrower documents and updating closing dates.
• Understand and comply with mortgage industry regulations.
• Successfully prepare and obtain your NMLS license.
• Lead and facilitate loan closings for our Columbus division.

• Must be a self-starter.
• Highly motivated individual.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• No mortgage experience is necessary. We will train you!

• Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator).
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
