SAP TCOE Manager

We are seeking a seasoned SAP TCOE Manager with deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Testing, and Test Center of Excellence (TCOE) practices.

The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including leadership of internal and multi-vendor teams.

This role involves strategic planning, test architecture, automation, governance, and team enablement across enterprise-level SAP implementations.

• Define enterprise-wide test strategy aligned with product architecture and release cadence.
• Establish governance standards including naming conventions, folder structures, and readiness criteria.
• Develop policies for test data, environments, and compliance (e.g., PII, audit requirements).
• Maintain test roadmap and quarterly OKRs; lead TCOE steering forums.
• Standardize testing frameworks for UI, API, mobile, and data validation.
• Promote model-based automation and modular design principles.
• Implement reusable design patterns to enhance test stability and reduce maintenance.

• Manage lifecycle of testing tools such as Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, Load Runner, qTest, and Azure Test Plans.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Lab.
• Define standards for tagging, parallel execution, retries, and quarantine management.

• Implement Test Data Management (TDM/TDS), including masking and synthetic data generation.
• Define environment matrices, health checks, and service virtualization strategies.
• Establish SLAs for environment availability and data freshness.

• Publish dashboards tracking pass rates, execution times, automation coverage, defect leakage, and flaky test indices.
• Standardize failure taxonomy and root cause analysis processes.
• Deliver monthly executive summaries and release readiness reports.

• Define test scheduling patterns including PR smoke tests, nightly component tests, and weekly regression/E2E tests.
• Coordinate cross-team E2E orchestration for release candidates.
• Optimize test suites, manage test debt, and enforce stabilization SLAs.

• Conduct enablement programs including onboarding, certifications, and playbook development.
• Mentor automation engineers and foster communities of practice.
• Develop sourcing models and competency matrices.
• Maintain a risk register covering environment, data, skills, and pipeline health.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX, GDPR, and PCI.

• 15+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Testing.
• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
• 2+ years of experience managing SAP TCOE functions.
• Proven leadership experience in managing internal and multi‑vendor teams.

• Experience with enterprise‑level SAP implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
