First Shift Mon-Fri 7-3, pay $25-35

OD manual Grinding of shafts and Rolls.

We are seeking an experienced OD Manual Grinder to operate manual grinding equipment to grind the outside diameter of metal components, including shafts and bolts. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision grinding equipment and be comfortable using measuring tools to ensure parts meet required specifications.

• Operate manual OD/cylindrical grinding machines.
• Grind the outside diameter of shafts, bolts, and other round metal components.
• Set up and adjust grinding equipment as needed.
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
• Maintain tight dimensional tolerances and required surface finishes.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain proper dimensions.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

• Previous experience with manual OD/cylindrical grinding preferred.
• Experience grinding shafts, bolts, or similar round metal components.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and understand measurements/tolerances.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Manufacturing, machining, or metalworking experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
