Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN with Epic charting proficiency and prior travel assignment experience for a diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab role.

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab specialty experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references required
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, TEE, valvuloplasty, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, IABP and Impella placement, VAD insertion, and Watchman procedures

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Strict no-call policy in place
• Perform scrub and monitoring duties for a range of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Holiday coverage expected
• Must reside within 75 miles for local candidate rate eligibility, though local candidates are otherwise accepted
• Returning staff must be away from full-time, part-time, or per diem employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• After 1 year on assignment, a 90-day system break is required before returning as a traveler
• Applicants currently in process for a permanent role with the facility within the past 6 months are not eligible
• Any requested time off must be submitted upfront and reflected in the confirmation document
