Screen cargo in compliance with TSA guidelines. Demonstrate and abide by Andy Frain Services Core Values and operating principles while maintaining 100% compliance with all cargo screening training. Observe and report activities and incidents, ensuring security and safety of client property and personnel.
Responsibilities / Duties- Deliver quality service and positive interaction with customers, greeting visitors, vendors, and employees while maintaining standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism.
- Screen cargo following TSA guidelines, including physical inspection, X‑ray, and other electronic equipment.
- Guard and patrol physical property; monitor system response; orient and monitor personnel working in high‑risk areas; investigate accidents and criminal acts.
- Process reports for the Security Supervisor and/or Director of Security, identifying areas of concern in weekly and daily reports.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine a course of action, notify appropriate authorities, and assist as needed.
- Develop and recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention based on incidents, accidents, and other relevant information.
- Proactively obtain information regarding post orders, revisions, and daily event needs (e.g., parking list, access changes).
- Implement security/safety improvements benefiting the company's assets, visitors, tenants, and employees as directed.
- Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- These functions are not limited to those listed and may be expanded upon mutually at any time.
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent;
Associate's Degree;
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. - U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card acceptable).
- 10‑year resident requirement.
- Must successfully meet and maintain all hiring standards and position requirements from Andy Frain Services and regulatory agencies.
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
- Constant and dedicated vigilance.
- Attention to detail.
- Security, warehouse, and/or aviation experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation, exemplifying our Mission Statement.
- Hands‑on, results‑oriented, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Facilitation of progressive change, cooperation with coworkers, following directions, and continual improvement.
- Evidence of autonomous work using sound judgment within a team‑oriented environment.
- Sense of urgency when given project deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work variable hours.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English.
Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or customers. Pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting may include up to 50 lbs. Stair climbing. Normal vision or corrected using glasses and/or contacts for reading and viewing abilities.
