INSTALLATION FOREMAN – HGC Construction

Join our team as an Install Foreman. In this pivotal role, you will lead skilled crews in crafting and installing high-quality metal and steel railings and fences. • Oversee and manage daily operations of steel/metal railing and fence installation projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
• Supervise a team of installers and fabricators, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for fabrication and installation.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
• Manage inventory and order materials and supplies as needed for projects.
• Train and mentor new team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication or installation.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and team hours worked.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on‑site to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all team members follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity on site.

  30 Required – Provided by the Company
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman.
• Proven track record in a supervisory or foreman role.
• In‑depth knowledge of metalwork, including welding, cutting, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations related to metalwork and construction.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools specific to metalwork.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Certification in welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this role. For some locations or clients, a REAL ‑compliant license may be necessary to gain access to secure facilities. If you do not currently have a REAL , we encourage you to apply—we can assist with next steps.
