Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr – $64,000.00/yr

As a hands‑on mechanic, you’ll handle scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and document your work to keep our fleet and GSE safe and dependable.

• Own local maintenance planning and execution to maximize equipment uptime.
• Perform skilled mechanical work in line with established procedures and best practices.
• Use manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and related documents to complete repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and hydraulic faults within established timelines.
• Keep precise maintenance records; conduct routine and ad‑hoc inspections.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ years of age.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
• Strong organization and time‑management skills to juggle multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of fluid types; diesel‑powered machinery and tools, including their use, repair, and maintenance.
• Professional discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to work tactfully with team members and client representatives.
• Hands‑on experience with standard and specialty tools and test equipment (e.g., photo tachometer, diagnostic tools and hardware, scanners, meters).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own basic tools (sockets/wrenches) up to 1" and up to 1/2" drive.

• Physically demanding environment around heavy moving equipment.
• Prolonged standing; exposure to loud noise at times; safe but potentially unpleasant odors; changing temperatures and humidity.

• Frequent use of hands to handle tools/controls; reaching; clear speech and hearing.
• Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
