We are expanding our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) shop at our CVG airport location and are seeking skilled Forklift Maintenance Technicians to fill several newly created positions.   Prioritize safety in all maintenance activities and interactions. Maintain a clean and organized work area while consistently applying best maintenance practices.
• Technical Expertise:
  Demonstrate a strong understanding of forklift mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Problem Solving:
  Utilize diagnostic skills to identify faults and determine the root causes of mechanical issues, ensuring a "fix it right the first time" approach.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively to assist in repairs.
• Tools and Equipment:
  Possess a sufficient set of tools and a toolbox to service forklifts, complementing the instruments provided by the company.
• Physical Stamina:
  Exhibit the capability to lift heavy objects and work in tight or awkward spaces as needed.
• Effective Communication:
  Maintain clear communication skills for documenting repairs and collaborating with team members.
• Attention to Detail:
  Approach inspections, repairs, and record-keeping meticulously, utilizing computer tablets and related software for work capture management.
• Dependability:
  Be reliable and responsible, consistently fulfilling obligations and commitments.

  Show a willingness to embrace responsibilities and tackle challenges proactively.

• Environmental Awareness:
  Work safely around fumes, odors, chemicals, and loud noises typically found in a GSE shop environment.
• Adaptability:
  Most work will be conducted within the shop, but the ability to retrieve or service equipment on the ramp in various weather conditions is required when safely possible.
• Background Requirements:
  Must successfully pass a 10-year background check and qualify for CVG airport ramp driving privileges (valid driver’s license and satisfactory background check).
• Additional Duties:
  Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Related licenses/certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience in forklift maintenance are highly desired.
