- Process shipments within department guidelines according to NBSC Customer list / Controlling branch instructions.
- Timely and accurate input of all data/information necessary to process and facilitate shipments through U.S. Customs and PSGs.
- Classify goods according to the customer’s SOPs and/or instructions.
- Check Cargo Wise buckets daily to ensure all steps in entry/brokerage processes are followed.
- Document review and assessment for accuracy; verify critical data elements for entry processing.
- Scanning and archiving of entry document images; communicate documentation discrepancies to supervisor and/or controlling branch.
- Request or compile any necessary import documentation from client.
- Accurate completion of all PSG data interfaces (e.g., FDA, EPA, DOT, FCC, Fish & Wildlife, etc.) and communicate entry number and status to carrier.
- A high school diploma or GED certificate is preferred.
- 1+ years’ experience in Customs Clearance and Customer service roles.
- Working knowledge of Cargo Wise.
- Knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities and ocean ports; basic knowledge of U.S. regulatory laws.
- Basic knowledge of INCOTERMS, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, customs regulations and other government agency requirements.

Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
