CDL Shuttle Driver; DOT

An SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers, ensuring they reach their destination efficiently, safely, and seamlessly.

• Go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license to be carried at all times while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary, if authorized.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways around the garage to assist customers.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.
• License Requirement: Valid CDL Class A, B, or C driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card: Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
• Availability to Work: May be required to work 3rd shift and/or weekends.

  Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use units of American money.
• Appearance: Must maintain a neat, clean appearance and be in uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift up to 75 pounds.

$23.45 per hour (+ tips). This role is eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate.
