Expected pay for this position is $18.98 – $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Home Care Aide is under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and in accordance with a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort to patients in a variety of settings. The Home Care aide travels to patient homes and provides in‑home care to assigned patients daily. The care provided must be age appropriate and the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patients are to be met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School/GED
Licenses/Certifications:
CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
Other
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Drivers License in current status
Own transportation and auto insurance
LS Certification from the American Heart Association
Other skills/knowledge:
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Phlebotomy Experience
