Step Down Unit Nurse, located in the healthcare facility, is responsible for providing specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring and interventions. This role involves working in an acute care setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled nursing care and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details- Schedule:
Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
ACLS, BLS Certification; minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; active Michigan license or confirmation of initiation of license application; successful completion of drug screening; understanding of OSF policies; requested time off submitted; last four digits of SSN provided. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in step down or similar acute care units. - Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care, monitoring patient status, collaborating with healthcare team members, and documenting care in electronic medical records.
- Certification and licensing compliance are mandatory for employment.
- Submission Requirements:
Clinicians must provide license information, certification proof, and licensing process status. - Float:
Float rotation may be required.
