This role is part of Walmart's local and regional team, focusing on routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores, equipment, and fixtures.

$19.00/hr - $35.00/hr

As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at Walmart, you will execute routine maintenance tasks, adhere to maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities and equipment, and provide a safe and welcoming environment for customers and associates.

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights and able to sit or stand for long periods
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR report may be required)
• Vocational or technical certification and 3 years of experience (or 5 years total) in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills and hand or power tools
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and support reactive repair work orders
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely
