Position OverviewThe CDL Driver will operate and maintain single, tandem or multi‑axle trucks/trailers and forklifts for delivery and pick‑up of agronomy/energy products, ensuring compliance with company schedules, safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role supports profitable business growth through reliable, safe, and timely transportation.
Core Responsibilities- Operate and maintain assigned vehicles and equipment in accordance with safety standards and proper operating techniques.
- Perform daily safety checks and pre‑trip inspections, ensuring fuel, oil, tires, lights, brakes and documentation are in order.
- Load and unload trucks following company policies and DOT regulations.
- Manage deliveries and pick‑ups, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to company expectations.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles, keep them clean and presentable, and conduct basic shop maintenance.
- Adhere to company Uniform Policy, Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
- Noisy environments
- Potential exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
- Work may involve heights and lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Extended hours as business conditions require.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL license with required endorsements and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications, medical card, and other permits.
- Strong business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision‑making and skill development.
- Willingness to participate in training on GROWMARK policies, procedures and related requirements.
