Financial Analyst

Hill International is seeking a Financial Analyst in San Diego, California

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects.
• Prepare forecasts and analysis of trends and monitor budget execution and variances across one or multiple projects.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in financial data and report insight-backed findings to management.
• May be responsible for the management of project work orders and vendor contracts depending on the scope of the assigned project and support level requirements of the project manager.
• May conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of analyses.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 6+ years of related work experience.
• 3 to 6+ years of financial systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting deliverables.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pick up and drive tasks to completion under minimal supervision where required.
• Hybrid work schedule; must be local to San Diego.

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $98,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience and work location.
