The team needs someone who can communicate confidently with customers and internal stakeholders, handle escalations professionally, and remain focused on solutions.
Experience with deductions, short payments, and credit-and-collections processes will be particularly valuable.

Review AR aging reports and develop account-specific follow-up strategies.

Research deductions, short payments, unapplied cash, and credit memo requests.
Collaborate with billing, cash application, sales, and customer service to resolve disputes.
Review customer payment history and identify accounts showing increased credit risk.
Maintain detailed account notes, collection status updates, and supporting documentation.
Prepare reports highlighting aging trends, collection progress, and high-risk accounts.
Assist with customer credit reviews and recommendations for account holds when appropriate.
Escalate significant payment issues and unresolved disputes to management.
Monitor collection metrics and recommend improvements to the team's workflow.
Support month-end AR reviews and cash forecasting by providing accurate collection updates.
