Weekend Day Shift Caregiver at Assisted Living Facility

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non‑profit organization licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). We offer independent, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services, aiming to help our residents age in place with a mission to honor God by serving others with love and compassion.

$19.10/hr – $19.10/hr.

Day shifts to start immediately – Saturdays, Sundays 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

We’re looking for compassionate and dependable individuals who take joy in providing excellent, personalized care for those struggling with temporary setbacks or the regular difficulties of aging. Our team of caregivers seeks not only accurate care but also enriching personal interactions for our residents. Residents and their families often comment that they love our staff’s friendliness and dedication – and we’re looking for more people who share that mindset.

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform occasional light housekeeping for residents.
• Escort residents to and from meals.
• Manage medication services.
• Provide other various assisted living services as needed.
• Respond to resident emergencies as part of a 24/7 caregiver team.

• Pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and basic physical exam.
• Seek excellence in care, even in the little things we do for residents.
• Maintain professionalism by following HIPAA standards and promoting resident dignity.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Be willing to work on weekends and holidays as needed.

Prior experience as a professional caregiver for seniors is not required, though similar experience (e.g., helping a senior family member, caregiving for a different age group) can accelerate the training process. All caregivers will receive online and in‑person training prior to working independently.
