We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re‑entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system.

North County Serenity House (NCSH)

NCSH, a residential program of Health

RIGHT 360, was founded in 1966 to provide substance use disorder services in the community. NCSH provides a gender‑responsive and trauma‑informed environment, using evidence‑based and best practices that recognize and account for the role that trauma frequently plays in substance use and criminal histories of women. For clients with co‑occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary.

Our residential facility serves up to 120 women (with capacity for up to 20 children under 5 years of age) seeking recovery from substance use disorders.

Position Summary

The SUD Supervisor I leads and supervises a team of professionals to ensure the delivery of quality client care. This role contributes to maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our clients and ensures that staff meet the organization’s goals in alignment with Health

RIGHT 360’s philosophy, mission, values, policies, and objectives. The SUD Supervisor I is responsible for overseeing client care, which includes staff scheduling, managing relationships with outside agencies, and performing other assigned tasks. Additionally, the role supports daily activities essential to incorporating the organization’s mission and values into our service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES People Supervision
  • Supervise, train, and guide direct service staff such as SUD Counselors and Client Safety Navigators, and/or assigned.
  • Assist management with interviews, selection, hires, and terminations.
  • Ensure that all direct reports are in compliance with the organization’s policies, procedures, position expectations and performance goals, and contractual requirements.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, support, and conduct formal performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Deliver and arrange training and resources to ensure that direct reports are successful in their roles.
  • Ensure proper coverage of the program by managing work schedules and approving time away from work.
