Schedule: 8- or 12-hour day shifts | Weekend availability required

First Light Home Care is hiring experienced, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors in Escondido. If you’re compassionate, professional, and comfortable providing hands-on personal care, we’d love to connect with you!

Day shifts are available Monday through Sunday:

8-hour shifts: 9 AM–5 PM

12-hour shifts: 7 AM–7 PM

You do not need to be available all seven days. We’re looking for consistent availability across multiple days each week, including weekends. Let us know which days and shift times you can regularly commit to.

• Companionship and emotional support
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Dementia care and redirection
• Assistance with errands and appointments
• Communication with clients, families, and office staff

• Caregiving experience; at least one year preferred
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• At least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Home Care Aide registration or willingness to obtain it before providing care; assistance available
• Ability to complete required background clearance, TB screening, and onboarding
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required

• $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience
• Overtime pay after 8 hours in a workday
