• Essential duties may include:
  Learn services, processes, procedures, and business lines; attend meetings with Project Managers to understand onsite meetings; learn the buyout process, review bid books and plans, contract trades, coordinate with the Construction Manager, determine feasibility of schedules, and set onsite dates for the Field team.
• Learn project management software (Timberline/Sage 300, Pro Core) and build positive working relationships with Project Engineers, Field Superintendents, General Superintendents, Subcontractors, Accounting team, Contract Administrator, Project Managers, and Leadership.

• By the 90-day mark and ongoing:
  Begin managing smaller projects from start to finish, develop foundational understanding of the buyout process, assist in budgeting with the Project Superintendent to keep projects on schedule, collaborate with subcontractors on change orders or CCDs, request change proposals, or work on T&M-based changes, and coordinate closeout with the Accounting team to finalize paperwork for billing.
• Maintain proactive client communication with project updates and issue resolution throughout each project.

• Within the 6th to 9th month:
  Fully understand the project management process, run projects independently, and manage difficult situations professionally (e.g., issuing notices to underperforming subs when necessary).
• Problem-solve in fast-paced environments while maintaining a professional, positive attitude.

• By the 12th month:
  Be a fully integrated team member, manage multiple projects from start to finish independently, bring projects to completion on schedule and under budget, and deliver the best outcomes for clients.

• 5+ years of project management experience in the retail and/or fast food construction industry
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
• Knowledge of general contracting and sub-contracting processes, construction methods, terminology, and scheduling
• Ability to learn Timberline, Sage 300, Procore, and other business management software
• Experience managing 2-3 parallel projects ($1M–$6M) and larger projects up to $20M
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook, Adobe PDFs)
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
