• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group within an assigned unit and manage day-to-day clinical activities.
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing and ancillary personnel, using professional and supervisory discretion.
• Coordinate plan of care with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Adhere to the California Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards of ethics and practice.
• Observe and direct patient lifting and mobilization; participate in patient handling as needed.
• Maintain English proficiency and basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office, email).
• Follow Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, laws, and standards; support the mission and quality commitments.

• Minimum Education:
  
  As required by certification/licensure
• Preferred Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Experience:
  
  1 year of RN experience in area of specialty
• Preferred Experience:
  
  2+ years of RN experience in area of specialty
• Required Certification:
  American Heart Association BLS - Healthcare Provider
• Preferred Certification:
  Not Applicable
• Required License:
  Current CA RN License
• Preferred License:
