RN PreOp PACU

USPI Advanced Center of North County in Escondido, CA is hiring PRN Pre OP/PACU RN.

The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

$50.00 - $62.00/hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

• Current CA Nursing License
• Current CPR, ACLS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity and innovation
• Excellent teaching skills
• Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
• Strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics

Experience working in an ASC is a plus.

Must be team-oriented and patient-focused.
