The Advanced Practice Provider works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by providing excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will provide general medical care and treatment to patients under the direction of providers. In addition, this role will assess training opportunities to promote team development.

The Advanced Practice Provider works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by providing excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will provide general medical care and treatment to patients under the direction of providers. In addition, this role will assess training opportunities to promote team development.

• Performs comprehensive physical examinations on patients, including review of patient medical data, such as health history
• Orders, administers, and interprets test results for diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests
• Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care, and managing infection
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance
• Impacts patient experiences by demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy
• Assesses and provides age-appropriate care to patients
