Procurement Assistant

Procurement Assistant needed in Esher Paying £22.67 per hr

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Provide procurement support across multiple service areas.
• Assist with procurement exercises for commonly purchased goods, services, and works.
• Support the delivery of procurement activities in compliance with the Procurement Regulations and the Procurement Act 2023.
• Manage and maintain information within the e-tendering portal and contract management systems.
• Assist in maintaining the Contracts Register and ensuring procurement transparency obligations are met.
• Publish procurement notices and update procurement records as required.
• Draft and issue compliant award, rejection, and outcome letters.
• Support the development and maintenance of procurement procedures, guidance notes, templates, and best practice documentation.
• Assist with supplier communications and procurement administration.
• Monitor procurement activity and maintain accurate records and audit trails.
• Stay informed of changes in procurement legislation, regulations, and technology.
• Support the Procurement Business Partner and wider team with ad hoc procurement projects.
