At Esher Sixth Form College, our Fashion and Textiles Department is a busy and creative environment, with around 110 students studying A Level Fashion and Textiles. We’re looking for a practical, organised and hands‑on Fashion and Textiles Technician to support our students and staff — preparing materials and equipment, supporting practical lessons and helping to keep our creative spaces organised, safe and inspiring.

This is a permanent, term‑time position, working 13 hours per week over Wednesday and Thursday, offering an excellent work–life balance and the opportunity to become an integral part of our Creative Arts team.

• Prepare materials, equipment and work spaces for practical Fashion and Textiles lessons
• Support students with specialist techniques and equipment
  , including sewing, painting and screen printing
• Organise, clean and maintain equipment, materials and creative work spaces
• Help manage stock, resources and equipment
  , ensuring everything is ready for teaching and learning
• Support department displays, exhibitions and College events
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider Creative Arts team to provide a safe, organised and inspiring environment
