Long Term Futures is partnering with a beautiful suburban primary school in the heart of Claygate. Set within expansive green grounds, the school boasts incredible outdoor learning facilities, including a Woodland Learning Zone, allotments, and even an on-site swimming pool.

We are seeking a passionate Level 3 educator to join their tight-knit nursery team.

This role offers the perfect balance of a structured school environment with a specialised, play-centric nursery atmosphere, specialising in the development of children aged 2-4.

Responsibilities

Working within the school's nursery provision to deliver high-quality care and education.
Planning and implementing creative, play-based activities that align with the EYFS framework.
Specialising in the personal, social, and emotional development of children during their first steps into a school environment.
Acting as a Key Person, monitoring progress and ensuring each child feels safe and supported.
Managing the transition of children from the nursery setting into the main school's Reception classes.
Maintaining a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment, making full use of the school's extensive green spaces and Woodland Learning Zone.

Essential Candidate Requirements

Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
A current Paediatric First Aid certificate is highly desirable.
Previous experience specifically within a nursery or EYFS setting.
A warm, energetic personality with a genuine passion for early childhood development.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication skills for building trust with young children and their families.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
