The Role Deliver engaging, high-quality Sociology lessons that inspire ambition and promote independent learning Teach across sixth form programmes, ensuring strong subject knowledge and curriculum delivery Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with schemes of work Develop high-quality resources that challenge and support all learners Use formative and summative assessment effectively to monitor progress and improve outcomes Provide regular, constructive feedback to students Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding at all times Tutor Responsibilities Act as a tutor to a group of students, supporting both academic and personal development Monitor attendance, effort, and progress, liaising with parents where concerns arise Deliver the Personal Development Programme during tutorial time Prepare high-quality UCAS references and meet internal deadlines
