Student Support Co‑ordinator

36 hours per week, 37.6 weeks per year (term time only). Monday to Thursday 08:00‑15:45, Friday 08:00‑15:30. Pay Grade PS6 (£30,885‑33,122 FTE). Starting pro‑rata salary: £25,838.

3 September 2026.

• Oversee and coordinate the focus room (internal suspension) and promote a forward‑thinking approach to minimise student poor behaviour.
• Lead on management of detentions and behaviour data reporting.
• Support leaders in the coordination of student and pastoral support plans.
• Build excellent relationships across the school, working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff.

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude to working with young people.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain a caring and strict approach to pastoral care.
