Complex Needs Assistant – SEND School – Esher

Esher, Surrey

Pay: Competitive Daily Rate
Type: Monday to Friday | Term Time Only | September Start | Temp-to-Perm

We are currently recruiting Complex Needs Assistants to join a specialist SEND school in Esher from September.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals within a supportive specialist setting.

The role will include:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support.
  • Supporting pupils with communication, engagement, and emotional regulation.
  • Assisting pupils with Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and medical needs.
  • Supporting with personal care where required.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support pupil progress.
  • Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or complex needs.
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.

Training and ongoing support will be provided.
