£110 per day | Full-Time | 8:30am - 4:30pm | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | September Start
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join a brand-new specialist school opening in Esher this September.
This exciting new provision will support pupils aged 7-17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). As part of a brand-new team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape a positive, nurturing learning environment from day one.
The Role- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Encourage engagement, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Support pupils in and out of the classroom.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider team to deliver personalised support.
- Build positive relationships that help pupils thrive.
- Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within a SEND, SEMH or education setting.
- A calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
