Financial Assistant

Keltbray is a leading UK specialist engineering and construction business, delivering complex infrastructure, engineering and built environment projects across the UK.

We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our finance team in Thames Ditton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within finance while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting and business activities.

Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you'll support the day-to-day running of the finance function while developing your skills and experience within a growing business.

• Processing invoices and supporting accounts payable activities
• Assisting with reconciliations and month-end processes
• Supporting cash allocations and financial record keeping
• Maintaining accurate financial data and documentation
• Assisting with reporting and financial analysis
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities as required
• Working closely with colleagues across the business to resolve finance queries
• Contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes

• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role would be beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• AAT studying or looking to begin a finance qualification would be advantageous
