Overview

As a People Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to people leaders across the organisation, helping drive strategic initiatives that enable performance, enhance employee engagement, and strengthen our culture. This is a broad and impactful role combining operational HR expertise with strategic thinking, commercial insight, and a passion for improving the employee experience. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to solve complex workforce challenges, support organisational change, and deliver the People Strategy across a diverse global environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to people leaders on HR policies, employee relations and effective team performance.
  • Coach managers to build strong, engaged and high‑performing teams.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and positive leadership.
  • Manage complex ER cases including performance, disciplinary, capability, grievances and absence.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and ensure fair, consistent and compliant processes.
  • Support conflict resolution and mediation to maintain a healthy working environment.
  • Drive Organisational Change
    :
    • Lead and support restructures, TUPE transfers, process change and transformation initiatives.
    • Support communication, engagement and integration during periods of change.
    • Guide leaders through effective change management strategies.
  • Support Wellbeing, Engagement & Inclusion
    :
    • Lead and implement initiatives that support wellbeing and positive work culture.
    • Act as a key point of contact for employees seeking wellbeing support.
    • Measure effectiveness of initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Develop People Policies in a Global Environment
    :
    • Contribute to the creation and review of People policies ensuring compliance, clarity and best practice.
    • Collaborate with Group HR on new policies aligned with evolving global employment legislation.
    • Ensure policies are clearly communicated and embedded across the business.
  • Ensure Legal Compliance & Mitigate Risk
    :
    • Advise leaders on employment legislation and potential risks.
    • Conduct HR process audits and recommend areas for improvement.
    • Provide risk assessments on ER matters and legal considerations.
    • Work with L&D teams to design and deliver training on HR processes, compliance and leadership.
    • Evaluate and continuously improve training effectiveness.
  • Oversee Visa & Immigration Matters
    :
    • Lead visa and immigration processes, ensuring compliance and timely applications.
    • Work with external legal advisors to support complex cases and international moves.
  • Deliver People Reporting & Insights
    :
    • Produce meaningful people metrics and reports, including turnover, absence and engagement data.
    • Use data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Support HR Administration Excellence
    :
    • Ensure people changes (promotions, transfers, salary adjustments) are processed accurately.
    • Uphold compliance and confidentiality in all HR administration.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent strategic HR role.
  • Strong background in employee relations, performance and absence management.
  • In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law; experience working within global employment environments.
  • Understanding of visa and immigration processes.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders with strong commercial and strategic insight.
  • Experience delivering organisational change and managing transformation initiatives.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in HR reporting and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and deliver to time frames.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
