Cat C ( HGV Class 2) Refuse Driver

Driver Hire Kingston requires an HGV 2 Driver for our client based in Esher on a long-term contract. Permanent employment opportunities are also available.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, with a permanent position offered upon successful completion of a 12-week trial period and a driving assessment before your first shift
.

The Role:

• Being part of a 3-man crew to collect Domestic waste in and around the local Borough
• Help with loading as and when required to assist the crew in completing all work on time and in a safe and controlled manner

Location: Esher , Surrey
Employment Type: Full-time, long-term contract with potential permanent opportunities

• £18.00 per hour standard rate
• £19.50 per hour overtime rate

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle as part of a 3-person crew
• Collect domestic waste across the local borough
• Work safely and help ensure collections are completed on time

• CAT C (HGV Class
  2) licence held for at least 2 years
• 1+ year of experience behind the wheel
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver CPC Card

• Professional and calm under pressure
• Flexible with working hours
• Willing to work overtime and unsociable hours during busy periods

• Assessment and induction available immediately
• Pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening required
