Varied Days and Hours (United States of America)

• Performs advanced airway care including intubation and extubation. Perform advanced airway care for infants, pediatric and adult patients to include intubation, extubation and tracheotomy care.
• Proficiency in the use of High Flow (infant, pediatric and adult, BPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, Bubble CPAP).
• Performs electrocardiograms on infants, pediatrics, and adults in areas throughout the hospital. These areas include the Emergency department, L&D, nursery, ICU, Med Surg and in PMG.
• Implement Cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric and adult patients.
• Alternate functions in the Pulmonary department (but not required) - Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement and cardiac stress testing.
• Performs departmental specific duties.

• Associates required;
  Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required
