The Retail Salesperson will assist customers with purchasing merchandise.

• Greet and interact with customers.
• Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
• Sell to customers using suggestive selling, tie‑in selling and upselling.
• Rotate stock when new merchandise arrives.
• Ensure sales areas are kept neat, clean, dusted, and inventory in the correct place.
• Ensure merchandise has proper tags and labeling.
• Ensure back stock is kept neat and orderly, checked, and stocked daily.
• Maintain end caps and rotate end‑cap merchandise once a month.
• Have thorough knowledge of how to place special orders and utilize the Do It Best Catalog.
• Place orders and assist charge customers with questions and issues.
• Comply with Hacienda uniform policy.
• Complete ongoing online training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to anticipate customers’ needs.
• Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
• Ability to operate or quickly learn the store’s point‑of‑sale system.

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous retail experience, preferred.
• On‑the‑job training provided.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
