Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians to diagnose, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all commercial equipment to support our stores. You will develop preventive maintenance schedules, complete assigned PMs, manage work orders and train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

$19.00/hr - $35.00/hr

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, providing required written and electronic information (expense vouchers, work orders, maintenance logs).

• 3 years of experience in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, etc.).
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Strong customer service orientation, clear communication, personal accountability, effective time‑management, adaptability and servant leadership.
