Accountant -AAT qualified - usual accountancy firm

Let's be honest, tasks in practice are similar from one firm to another, but it's the company's mindset, goals, culture - and nowadays, ownership - that make the difference.

Our client's senior leadership team have an open door policy, are available to everyone and anyone in the firm and create a collaborative, welcoming, and supportive environment.

You will have the opportunity to work with SME's and medium sized entities - which means the chance to partner with senior business leaders - from a multitude of sectors and have the prospect of making a difference through the advice and services you provide.

Your general tasks will involve preparing year end accounts, management accounts and personal tax returns, using the latest accounting technology such as Xero. Other projects will arise of which you can be a part of as you grow in experience.

Not everyone will be considered, as our client whilst small, has a mighty reputation of providing an excellent service to uphold.

With this in mind, we are looking for those who -

• Have gained experience, at the very least qualified AAT with an accountancy firm.
• The experience gained will be that of which this role will involve i.e. year end accounts, tax returns
• Have a natural desire to learn and develop
• Show good communication skills through liaising with clients and colleagues
• Have a flair for accounting systems such as Free Agent, Dext, Xero, Quickbooks and more.
