About the Role
This role will be to provide administrative support on an 'as and when basis' to Norfolk and Waveney Community and School Aged Immunisation Service who provide a variety of immunisations across the counties of Essex and/or Hertfordshire in a variety of venues across all age ranges.
Responsibilities- Support the team at times of increased workload by providing administrative support in community clinics and school sessions across Essex and/or Hertfordshire.
- Work in the office base to provide administrative support for the planning and management of school and other vaccination clinics.
- Handle telephone queries and clinic bookings from a variety of service users.
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated with a desire to improve the health and wellbeing of communities by supporting the delivery of a variety of vaccinations.
- Experience of working with a variety of ages, and experience of working in a health care setting is useful.
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written and ability to establish good working relationships with a wide range of children and adults.
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel applications.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, accuracy and a good eye for detail.
- Experience of working with Systmone electronic health records would be an advantage.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010). There is a significant amount of driving as part of the role across the county on a daily basis.
