About Us

Our client is a bustling engineering office seeking a reliable and organised Office support, to join their friendly team. This is the perfect role for someone eager to learn and contribute to the daily operations of a busy office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Welcome visitors warmly and assist with reception duties when needed.
  • Maintain both paper and electronic documents accurately through filing and organisation.
  • Input data into company systems and spreadsheets, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Scan, copy, print, and distribute documents efficiently.
  • Assist in preparing correspondence and reports as required.
  • Organise and update office records and databases to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Support engineers and office staff with daily administrative tasks.
  • Perform additional general office duties as required.
What We're Looking For
  • Has a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Possesses a confident telephone manner and strong communication skills.
  • Is familiar with basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Can manage their workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exhibits good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Is able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
