Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring patient waiting list information is accurate and up to date.

In this varied administrative role, you will support the validation and maintenance of waiting list data across a range of services, helping to improve patient pathway management and reduce delays. You'll work closely with clinical teams, service managers and booking colleagues to resolve queries, maintain data quality and support efficient patient care.

We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and confident using computer systems. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and a commitment to confidentiality are essential.

Previous administrative experience is desirable. Knowledge of NHS waiting lists, RTT, diagnostics, cancer pathways or patient administration systems would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Play a vital role in supporting safe and effective patient care by joining the Trust as an Admin Support colleague.
  • Provide a comprehensive, flexible and efficient administrative service, helping team to maintain accurate waiting list and pathway information.
  • Although hosted within the Surgery, Theatres, and Anaesthetic Division, the role supports hospital-wide operational priorities.
  • To work with all Divisions and Service managers to ensure that the waiting list data is accurate
  • Use appropriate Trust systems to capture, update and validate information, monitor reports, complete assigned tasks within agreed timescales and support the timely escalation of any data quality or pathway issues.
  • Working both independently and as part of a wider team, you will follow established processes while using your initiative to respond to daily demands.
