Legal Administrator

A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Legal Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, temporary position until the end of December, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) paying 12.71 per hour depending on experience.

Your key duties in this Legal Administrator role will include but are not limited to:

• Providing administrative support to the Legal Team during a busy year-end period
• Assisting with property and conveyancing administration, including filing, title checks, exchanges and completions
• Supporting Conveyancers with their caseloads and general legal processes
• Assisting with post-completion administration, including Land Registry and SDLT processes
• Carrying out AML checks and maintaining accurate records
• Responding to enquiries and requests from customers and property owners
• Updating and maintaining information using the company's case management system

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

• Strong previous administration experience is essential
• Previous experience within conveyancing, property or a legal environment would be highly desirable
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• Confident working as part of a team and supporting multiple colleagues
• Experience using case management systems would be advantageous
