Up to £70,000 + Package

We are currently searching for a Quantity Surveyor who has extensive experience commercially managing brickwork packages. This role is with one of the UK largest and most well established contractors who have been delivering complex projects for over 30 years. They are going from strength to strength and as a result, are looking to bring in additional commercial talent to the team.

The role:

* Manage budgets, cost control, and profitability for brickwork and masonry packages

* Measure quantities and prepare accurate estimates and tenders

* Procure materials, labour, and subcontractors, negotiating best commercial terms

* Prepare and submit interim valuations and manage cash flow

* Assess and agree subcontractor applications and payments

* Administer contracts (JCT/NEC), including variations and change control

* Identify and manage commercial risks and value engineering opportunities

* Agree final accounts and ensure timely release of retentions

Experience

Required:

* Extensive experience managing brickwork packages for contractor operating in a similar niche.

* Drive to progress and step into a senior role relatively quickly.

* Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or have undertaken a relevant apprenticeship.
