Our client, a well-established and highly respected volume house builder, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their growing team on a large-scale residential development in Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Site Managers and Project Teams, gaining valuable exposure to the delivery of high-quality housing developments while progressing your career within a successful and forward-thinking business.

• Assisting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development.
• Supporting the management of subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Monitoring build quality and ensuring homes are delivered to company standards.
• Assisting with site inspections, snagging, and quality control processes.
• Helping to manage build programmes and achieve key project milestones.
• Maintaining site records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

• Previous experience working for a residential developer or main contractor.
• Experience with in new-build housing is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification preferred.
• A proactive attitude with a desire to develop into a Site Manager role.
