Our client is a well-established roofing contractor delivering projects across the commercial and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Contract Manager to oversee multiple roofing projects.
This opportunity is also open to an experienced Roofing Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Foreman or Senior Roofer who is looking to progress off the tools into a management role. Full support will be provided for the right individual.
The Role
As Contract Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing multiple roofing contracts simultaneously.
* Planning programmes of work and coordinating labour and subcontractors.
* Carrying out regular site visits and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
* Building strong relationships with clients and acting as their main point of contact.
* Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries.
* Managing project budgets, variations and commercial performance.
* Ensuring Health & Safety compliance across all sites.
* Attending site meetings and resolving any project issues.
* Producing site reports and keeping project documentation up to date.
* Working closely with the directors and office team to ensure projects run smoothly.
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in roofing who are looking to develop their career.
You could be:
* An experienced Contract Manager.
* A Roofing Supervisor.
* A Site Supervisor or Foreman.
* An experienced Roofer looking to take the next step into management.
You'll ideally have:
* Strong roofing knowledge.
* Experience leading teams on site.
* Good communication and organisation skills.
* A proactive approach to problem solving.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Basic IT skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
