Quantity Surveyor required

Quantity Surveyor required in ChelmsfordGVR Solutions are currently representing an established contractor, based in Essex, who are in the market for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Due to positive and continuous project delivery success they are seeking an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As a business they undertake specialist remediation contracts for concrete repairs and replacement schemes. They are looking for a commercially confident Surveyor to lead cost control and margin protection. Working with leading public and private sector clients across the whole of the UK.Duties and Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:
Cost planning and commercial strategy

Recovering and protecting margin

Managing JCT contracts and change control

Leading valuations and final accounts

Supporting tenders and frameworks

The Quantity Surveyor must have/be:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or construction related courses

Ideally 7+ years Quantity Surveying experience

Strong JCT Contracts experience

Proven track record of delivering construction projects

Excellent communication and oral skills

Stable employment history

High-performing individual

Versatile

Excellent time keeping skills
