I am currently working with a well-established specialist contractor that delivers drylining, ceilings, partitions, SFS, plastering and interior packages across London and the Home Counties. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, the business works with a range of leading main contractors on residential, commercial, education and mixed-use developments.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, I am looking to speak with experienced Drylining Estimators who are looking to join a successful and expanding contractor.

Working closely with the pre-construction team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for drylining and interior packages, helping to secure a steady pipeline of profitable work.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications.
Preparing detailed take-offs and cost estimates.
Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Identifying value engineering opportunities.
Producing comprehensive tender submissions.
Attending pre-tender and post-tender meetings.
Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the bid process.
Assisting with handovers to operational teams following project award.  Rewards and Benefits

Previous estimating experience within the drylining, ceilings, partitions or interiors sector.
Strong understanding of drylining systems and associated packages.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience producing detailed take-offs and tender submissions.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software
