Design & Architecture Associate, CAD​/ AutoCAD​/ Mechanical Design

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established architectural practice specialising exclusively in the residential development sector. Working with many of the UK's leading house builders, this is an opportunity to become part of a highly respected team delivering high-quality residential schemes from concept through to construction.
This role would suit an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist who enjoys a varied position, combining technical drawing responsibilities with regular client interaction. You will be confident producing accurate technical information while also building strong relationships with clients and attending meetings as required.

• Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction information for residential developments.
• Work closely with leading house builder clients throughout the design and delivery process.
• Attend client meetings and provide a professional, solutions-focused service.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
• Manage multiple projects whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.

• Experience working either:
  • within an architectural practice specialising exclusively in residential house building,
    or
  • in an in-house drawing/technical department for a UK residential developer.
• Strong technical drawing ability with excellent knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and residential construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience would be advantageous).
• Comfortable in a client-facing environment with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
