Supply Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with QTS looking for a role that fits your lifestyle, career goals, or next step in education? Strategy Education are expanding our supply team and would love to hear from enthusiastic teachers ready to make a positive impact in local schools.

The roles available are for day-to-day supply cover and long term roles. We also help people into permanent positions.

You must either have QTS or QTLS with SET Membership.

Whether you are:

• currently working in a school, but seeking a new permanent or long-term position from January 2026
• currently working part-time and looking for additional days of teaching to fit around your current job
• currently out of work and hoping to return to the classroom as soon as possible
• considering your options and currently looking for flexible day-to-day supply work before committing to a long-term/permanent role
• considering a new challenge working with children with special educational needs
• secondary trained, but interested in working in primary education

• Qualifications
  :
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience
  :
  Recent and relevant experience with the UK Primary National Curriculum is often required.
• Skills
  :
  Adaptability, flexible scheduling, excellent classroom management, and the ability to follow school policies are key.
• Personal attributes
  :
  Teachers should be passionate, nurturing, and motivated to make a positive impact.

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain classroom management.
• Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Undertake any pastoral duties linked to the role.
• Maintain positive behaviour and continue the education of the pupils.
