A well-regarded, inclusive school is seeking to recruit three full-time Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a new specialist class launching in January
. This exciting opportunity involves supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - offering the chance to make a meaningful impact every single day.

These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children develop communication, life skills, independence and confidence within a nurturing environment.

Role Details
  • 25 hours per week
    , approximately 8:50am - 3:00pm
    , Monday to Friday (term-time only)

  • Full-time positions starting in January

  • Work within a newly formed class designed specifically to support pupils with SLD and ASD, many of whom require tailored approaches to learning, communication and sensory regulation

  • Collaborate with an experienced, dedicated team focused on creating a supportive, engaging and structured learning environment

  • Experience working with children or young people is strongly valued, especially within SEN, SLD, ASD or related support roles

  • Relevant qualifications in childcare, education or support work are desirable

  • A patient, empathetic and understanding manner, with the ability to build positive relationships and support emotional regulation

  • Commitment to promoting pupils' academic, social and personal development, including communication and independence skills

  • Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to learn as part of a supportive team
